Candies Resto: LKKS Cagayan de Oro City

If you are really into cakes you should try out Candies Resto at Lim Ket kai Mall here in CAgayan de Oro City. It is owned by CAny Lu who trained at Cordon Bleu. They really great cakes. At a glance the price is a bit on the high side for the fact that it is in the province but damn it is really worth every bit. They also serve great food aside from cakes. You should try the spare ribs. Very good.

The owner is a relative of Brian Jaime Lu. A double fraternity brother (DeMolay and Sigma Rho Fraternity). Most medical representatives buy there cakes her for the doctors. In fact on doctor demands that the cakes that he recieves should only come from Candies.

After he had dinner there, i brought Ann there and she like it. Specially the cake. Also brought Kimberly Ann in her birthday.

This is the usually meeting place of the Sigma Rho Fraternity monthly fellowship. REgular na kami dito.

If you prefer to dine alfresco they also have it.

Lately, we have been frequently been coming back to this resto at SM Cdo. So far they have good food. Nice ambiance. They have big servings. One time we ordered beef pochera. Damn, it was a mean pochero, we were not able to finish it. We had to take it home. The fries are big. The barbeque is good. The roast big was good. It was a big serving but the star anise was a bit strong for me. But Kimberly liked it. There was this another beef meal in a sizzling plate. It was quit good. I like the mushrooms and the sauce that came with it.

The Beef Pochero was so big that 4 more people were able to eat from it when we brought it home.

Home alone

Argh. Home alone for a week. Ann and Tatiana is in Manila right now. She was supposed to take lessons in Baking but it turned out that the schedule for for Davao. She will be back next week. Damn, the room is so quit. Specially with Tatiana away.
