The Omen 1976

The Omen (1976) was shown over at Wowow channel around 12 midnight last night. Ka takot. This is a classic horror movie. It is much better than the remake. It stars the great actor Gregory Pick as the american ambassador Thorn. He is the father of Damien the anti-christ. The mother was played by Lee Rimick (hope i got the spelling right). This is the only movie of the child who played Damien. Although he made a cameo in the new version as one of the paparatzi. It must have been tough for him growing up with everybody thinking that he is the anti-christ.

The nanny was very scary. The dogs were also scary. The rotwielers really look like the guardian dog of the anti-christ.

Some mistakes:

1. In the cementery scene where the father discovered that his real son is dead and buried in a cementery in Italy. They were attack by a pack of visious rotwielers. You can see the handlers of the dog for a short time.

2. When the mother was thrown over the hospital window. You get to see that both her arms are waiving. However this is wrong because one of his arm was on a cast.

3. When the mother

The new version is almost exactly the same except of for its modern look and the attempt to co-relate the coming of the anti-christ with what is currently happening now.

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666." Book of Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 18
